Dr. Jason Leyendecker
Dr. Jason believes that great service comes with great knowledge. He prides himself with staying up on all of the latest technology and treatments to best serve his patients. He also has a specialty in tinnitus management. He is here to help find solutions to your hearing, tinnitus and sound sensitivity needs.

Dr. Jason graduated from A.T. Still University in 2010. He started with Audiology Concepts as a student under Dr. Paula Schwartz in 2008. In 2017, he bought the practice and plans to continue the legacy Dr. Schwartz created. You can expect the best experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
When not in the office, you can find Dr. Jason outdoors and spending time with his family and friends!

Dr. Stacey Dimond
Dr. Stacey’s passion for Audiology comes from an ever-present desire to improve people’s quality of life through better hearing and communication skills. She also has a specialty in tinnitus and hyperacusis management. It is her belief that her educational, professional and personal experiences make her an Audiologist who can change your life for the better!
Dr. Stacey has been practicing Audiology since 2009. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She joined Audiology Concepts in 2017 after relocating back to the Twin Cities. Dr. Stacey is excited to provide exceptional hearing services while creating personal relationships with all her patients at Audiology Concepts.
In her free time, Dr. Stacey enjoys gardening and cooking while spending time with her husband, Jesse, and their beautiful daughters.

Joanna Niemi
Joanna is pleased to be your first contact in the front office as well as on the phone. Her goal is to provide our patients with excellent service by welcoming them, handling paperwork, and making and confirming appointments. She keeps the flow of visits as smooth as possible.
Joanna’s background is in Education, so it comes natural for her to help educate patients on the how’s and why’s of hearing treatment. Her favorite part of her job is the friendships she makes with patients.
She enjoys spending as much time outdoors in the summer and looks forward to gardening and landscaping her yard. Reading, needlework and her two grown daughters and a granddaughter keep her busy when she is not in the office.

Nicole is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a multifaceted background in the healthcare industry. After serving in pivotal leadership roles at a managed care setting for several years, she made the conscientious decision to pursue full-time clinical work, driven by her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on individuals’ lives. In her role as the Mental Health Director at a Medication Assisted Treatment Center, Nicole provided invaluable support to clients seeking help with opioid use disorders. Her compassionate approach and dedication to their recovery journey significantly contributed to their healing and well-being.
Nicole’s recent focus has centered on addressing neurological conditions, including tinnitus, misophonia, and hyperacusis at her private practice in Minnesota. Her dedication to empowering individuals living with these conditions has offered them a path towards healing and an improved quality of life.
In 2017, Nicole connected with Dr. Jason Leyendecker to further her understanding of tinnitus and other sound-related conditions after witnessing the profound impacts on clients she worked with at her private practice. Dr. Leyendecker and Nicole have since joined forces to create an integrated behavioral health treatment model at Audiology Concepts, where clients can work directly with both an audiologist and a mental health professional. This holistic approach to treatment addresses both the emotional and physiological aspects of tinnitus, highlighting their dedication to comprehensive care. Nicole’s expertise has led her to become one of the presenters at the tinnitus seminar offered at Audiology Concepts. In this capacity, she shares psychoeducation, coping strategies, and hope, providing valuable support to clients attending the seminar.
Throughout her career, Nicole has honed her expertise in a diverse range of therapeutic modalities to guide her clients on their unique journeys. These modalities include Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Interventions, Family Systems, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Havening Techniques, and Attachment-based treatment. By thoughtfully integrating these approaches, Nicole tailors her treatments to meet the specific needs of each individual. Nicole’s commitment to staying current of the latest developments in her fields of expertise ensures that she continues to provide the most effective and evidence-based interventions available.
